Washington D.C. - Today, Hector Sanchez Barba, founder of Mi Familia Decide, released the following statement endorsing former state Sen. Raquel Terán in the Democratic primary for Arizona’s third congressional district: 

“Mi Familia Vota Decide is proud to endorse Raquel Terán because she exemplifies the greatest values of the Latino and immigrant communities in Arizona. 

She is a hard worker who always puts the priorities of our community first. She is a born organizer, working in Arizona’s third congressional district long before she decided to run for Congress. She knows how to roll up her sleeves and get things done on behalf of working families.

Without the tireless efforts made by her and others, we would not have defeated Joe Arpaio. Now more than ever, we need strong leaders to fight toxic MAGA politics in Arizona. That leader for the third Congressional district is Raquel Terán.
