Xavier Becerra has dedicated his life to the values of hard work, accountability, and public service – principles rooted in his upbringing as the son of working-class immigrants. Throughout his career, Becerra has consistently fought to defend families, access to healthcare, protect workers and consumers, uphold civil rights, and stand with immigrant communities. He has repeatedly challenged policies and abuses of power that threaten the well-being and progress of the communities he serves.
